PSG star Neymar Jr. has been banned from Twitch and although there are no official reasons yet, it appears the platform has banned him because he inadvertently showed the phone number of his teammate, Richarlison.
Neymar’s account was canceled on November 9 seemingly out of nowhere, but word soon spread that it was likely to have come from an incident where the star accidentally shared Richarlison’s phone number live on his live stream. Disclosing other people’s personal information, such as addresses and phone numbers, is against community guidelines and is certainly a crime that can result in a permanent suspension or ban.
The breach occurred on October 18, when Neymar showed spectators his cell phone while calling Richarlison, inevitably revealing the Everton player’s phone number for all to see. Richarlison even jokingly tweeted about the situation, claiming that Neymar’s gaffe led to him receiving. ” More than 10 thousand messages ” in five minutes.
5 minutos e já tem mais de 10 mil msgs🤦🏽♂️ obrigado @neymarjr

Although the event took place a few days ago, the fact that the video remained within its channel would have led to the ban. That said, however, there is obviously no way to know 100% why it was banned since Twitch never explains why a channel is being censored.
