Skater XL has been delayed from its release date of July 7, and now will be out on July 28 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, according to an announcement Friday made by the developer Easy Day Studios. In addition, a new date for the version Switch will be revealed “in the coming weeks.”
Did not give a specific reason for the delay, but the ad mentioned that it needed a new date, “due in part to things that are outside of our control”, so that it is possible that the pandemic coronavirus has affected the development of the game.
Easy Day Studios also released some new images of the game from one level of school to compensate for the delayed announcement, and the studio plans to reveal more content and features previously unreleased” in the period prior to the new release date of the game.
