In fact, the test units that have arrived at the various international newspapers include clear references to a web browser in the Settings menu. So, either PlayStation Blog made a mistake, or the feature was canceled at the last minute. The official answer to the FAQ on the PlayStation blog reads: ” No, the PS5 system does not include a dedicated web browser app .”

Sony’s new Game Help feature hopes to keep more people within the PS5 ecosystem by eliminating the need for Google searches. The owner of the platform, most likely, also believes that most players have a smartphone for quick web searches, so he would have deleted (or postponed) the feature.
