PlayStation 5 is now available in many regions, and new users will likely jump to the PlayStation Plus section of the store right away to take advantage of the PlayStation Plus Collection. The collection includes numerous PS4 games that you can play on PS5 and, apparently, on the “old” console as well.

GameSpot can confirm, after conducting tests, that once the collection has been redeemed on PlayStation 5, the games can be played on a PS4. This means you’ll still have to get your hands on a PS5 to access the library, but if you still have a PS4 you can install games on the system.

If you want to free up space on your PS5’s limited SSD or install your PS4 in another room in the house, this could be very useful indeed.

Here is the full list of games included in the PlayStation Plus Collection:

  • Batman: Arkham Knight
  • Battlefield 1
  • Bloodborne
