Insomniac has changed its stance on Spider-Man saves and will now provide PS4 players the ability to transfer their progress to the remastered PlayStation 5 edition as part of a future update.

Initially, Insomniac had told Spider-Man players that their existing PS4 rescues would be incompatible with the new remastered PS5-only version, which will be made available to those who purchase (or upgrade) the new Ultimate Edition of Spider-Man: Miles Morales – which means they would have to start the experience all over again.

In a new message posted on Twitter, however, Insomniac announced a change. ” We heard you,” in an upcoming SpiderMan PS4 update, we will add the ability to export your save to Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. “The update is expected to roll out several weeks after Remastered arrives as a PS5 launch title.

Insomniac also revealed that the update will bring Spider-Man Remastered’s three PS5-exclusive Spidey suits to the PlayStation 4 version, including Arachnid Rider and Armored Advanced Suits.

Spider-Man: Remastered will include the base game and its expansion content, as well as improved visuals, sound, and performance.
