For those lucky enough to get a PS5 when it launches, there are plenty of games to choose from. It’s arguably one of the best launch lineups ever for PlayStation, and easily the best as far as Sony’s first-party is concerned.

Among these games will be Demon’s Souls, a remake of the PS3 classic that will return to next-gen in a whole new guise. With game sizes and updates getting bigger and bigger, fans probably expect a first “massive” update for the title, but maybe it won’t.

Twitter user Lance McDonald got his hands on PS5 and was apparently able to see the day one update for Demon’s Souls. Although he initially said it appeared to only have a 3MB update, he later corrected himself to say that the game will have a day one patch of around 850-900MB. It seems, therefore, that there will be no need to download a huge update unless Sony releases a second larger patch before launch.

Demon’s Souls will be released on November 12th on PlayStation 5 in select regions and on November 19th worldwide.
