We’ve been talking about Cyberpunk 2077 for several years now but finally, now the game is ready for launch next month after several postponements.
Like CD Projekt RED’s previous hit title, The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 will receive DLC and expansions after release, but we will only be able to see this content after launch.
The game will have a lot of post-launch DLC, both free and paid. Although we knew that the material had been postponed when the main game’s release was postponed, details on the DLCs were initially expected shortly before launch.
As CDPR president Adam Kiciński explained in the latest financial report, the company will reveal information about it after the base game is released, similar to multiplayer (via Seeking Alpha ).
” The initial plan was to reveal the content before launch, but after the recent postponement, we decided to wait for the release to provide players with the base game and then start talking about future projects .”
It’s probably a wise enough strategy to just focus on the base game release for now, considering how much time has passed and the numerous postponements.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on December 10 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Stadia, PS5, and Xbox Series X / S (through backward compatibility).
