Cyberpunk 2077 is now very close and interesting details continue to emerge on the net about the highly anticipated CD Projekt RED game.
The lucky players in possession of the game have revealed interesting information regarding the Xbox Series X version. On Microsoft’s console, Cyberpunk 2077 will have two graphics modes, one aiming for a smoother framerate and one aiming for higher resolution.
According to what emerged, it seems that the title points to 60 FPS in Performance mode, even if there seems to drop in the framerate in some places.
Twitter user Daniel Sampaio says, ” I received my copy of Cyberpunk 2077 Collector’s Edition yesterday. I can confirm the Performance and Resolution modes on Series X. In Performance mode, the framerate is much smoother than in resolution mode. Hard to say if yes. it’s just about unlimited frame rate or 60 FPS. This is patch v184.108.40.206 prior to day one. “
@shinobi602 I got my copy of Cyberpunk 2077 Collectors Edition yesterday. I can confirm resolution vs performance mode on Series X. Performance runs much smoother than Quality. Hard to say whether it's just an uncapped frame rate or targeting 60. This is pre day 1 patch v220.127.116.11 pic.twitter.com/miNmX4ZDWI

Now, all that remains is to understand if the PS5 version of Cyberpunk 2077 will also have the same graphics modes as Series X.
