Call of Duty: Warzone has become a huge success for Activision. The free battle royale mode has quickly become a fan favorite as it has evolved with new story elements with each new season, with more in the pipeline, at least as reported by some leaks.
The latest Call of Duty: Warzone leak comes from the BlackOpsLeaks Twitter account. A new image shows the familiar Call of Duty: Warzone logo followed by the words Rebirth Island in large letters below. Behind the text is Alcatraz Island itself, which longtime fans might remember as Rebirth Island from the original Black Ops. With its dedicated promotional image, it seems likely that Rebirth Island will be the new map coming.
The news of Rebirth Island shouldn’t come as a surprise, as the addition was confirmed almost a month ago within the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War roadmap. The leaks, however, do not end there: details have also been published on a new multiplayer map set in a shopping center and a remake of the raid. The posts, unfortunately, grabbed Activision’s attention by forcing creators to delete leaked information or receive DMCA takedown notices on YouTube and other social media channels. At the moment, it is not known when Activision will properly reveal new details about this upcoming content, so for now, it is still a rumor.
We just have to wait for news from Activision itself to confirm the leaks.
