Many players love to collect and collect achievements, achievements, and trophies in their games. Conquering challenging challenges and earning a small virtual medal can be incredibly rewarding.

Unfortunately, it looks like this won’t be possible in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla … or rather, it won’t be in a conventional way.

In the last chapter of the popular series that sees Assassins against Templars, there are no achievements, but only in the PC version: on consoles, it is still possible to get them without problems. Why this absence? Ubisoft explained it to us directly on its official forum :

” Achievements are not available for this title on PC and it is an intentional change. Instead of achievements for new games, we have expanded the Challenges on Ubisoft Connect, which give XP and other rewards in Ubisoft Connect. We know this is great. change for many of you and we appreciate your understanding. “.

The Challenges or Challenges are different, but at the same time almost similar to the classic achievements: by completing certain objectives in certain games, you will be rewarded with experience points for your Ubisoft Connect account, or with virtual currency with which to buy bonuses for the aforementioned games (skins or side missions) or accessory rewards, such as wallpapers and avatars.

The other substantial difference is that some of these challenges don’t last forever and, in the case of multiplayer games, they follow the classic “seasons” structure. The feeling of having completed a game 100% disappears if you don’t have “fixed” goals to conquer.

The issue is currently very much discussed among the members of the Ubisoft community and there are already several users who have not welcomed this change. In your opinion, by virtue of a possible voice response from dissatisfied users, will Ubisoft stick to its decision, or will it take a step back?
