The hugely popular multiplayer title Among Us is currently only available on PC and mobile devices, but what if it wasn’t 2020 and Among Us was originally released for Game Boy?

An animator, streamer, and YouTuber named “LumpyTouch” created an impressive pixel art animation for Among Us that shows what the game could have been if it had launched in 1990 instead of 2018.

The video demake, which can be seen below, is a fascinating throwback to the past. The movie, in addition to showing us the multiplayer for four players, also allows us to listen to music that seems really appropriate.

There is also a dialogue sequence towards the end of the video which is done via text and no voice chat, as, as you know, there was no voice chat on Nintendo’s handset.

How about?
